FW: Great program for 6th grade girls

Leaders of 6th grade troops,

I wanted to pass on this great opportunity for 6th grade girls. My daughter Jessica did this last year and loved it, loved it.

The application is due March 14 and does require a teacher signature, so you might want to jump on it. There is no cost to apply and last year, the cost for the whole week (including t-shirt, lunches, and all activities) was $25. Yes, $25.

Science Technology & Engineering Preview Summer Day Camp for Girls at Grand Valley State University (June 16-19, 2008 and June 23-26, 2008)

STEPS is a four day, day-camp introduction to the exciting world of technology and engineering! Campers will participate in a variety of workshops that will give them hands-on experience with high-tech equipment and processes. Program activities during the week for STEPS include designing, manufacturing, and flying a radio-controlled airplane. Activities such as swimming, pizza parties, and airport tours are also included. Here is the link. and I attached the brochure.
