[leaders] Incentives

Hi everyone,
Like I explained at the April leader meeting, there are a number of troops with boxes of cookies that need to be allocated to girls in order for their incentives to calculate correctly.  I just looked through all of the troop's Girl Orders reports and the following troops need to adjust their orders by May 15;

1394
1597
1894
2074
2115
2314
2380
2598
2671
2688
2731
2741
2808
2916
3020
3080
3132
3152
3224
3283
3360
3365
3366
3383
3410
3519
3548
3552
3593
3725
3769
3770
3839
3842

You need to go into ebudde to the Girl Orders tab.  At the bottom you will see a difference line with negative numbers.  Those boxes need to be allocated to a girl.  Please enter the boxes in the second line the girl has (it will be all zeros).  When the difference line is all zeros your incentives will correctly calculate automatically for you.  If you would like help, feel free to call me at home 874-5612 and I can help you.

Thanks!

[leaders] Leader Banquet

Hello Girl Scout Leaders!

You are all invited to attend the Leader Banquet to be held on Monday, May 10, at 6:00 pm at the Rockford United Methodist Church.  This is a busy time for everyone, so in order to keep it simple, yet fun, we will be having a potluck meal and ask you to bring your own table service.  Beverages will be provided.  Doorprizes will be available!

We are offering an interesting program!  Ashley Gremel, a Senior at Rockford High School,  who started Cast Off the Cold in 2007 will be speaking.  She knits scarves for people in need, and will be sharing more about this great mission and what we can do to help.  This would be a great project to offer to your girls in your troops!

Please RSVP by May 7 to Sue Kerbyson at robert_kerbyson@yahoo.com or Susan Witte at susanwitte@cheerful.com so we can get a good idea of how many to set up for.  Contact either of us if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Susan Witte and Sue Kerbyson, Co-chairs

Subject: Cake event postponed

Hello everyone!

Due to a number of reasons the cake decorating event will be postponed until this coming fall. Council doesn't have anyone available to do their talk about the Family Champion fund and there have not been enough people RSVPd to hold the event at this time. I know how crazy it is being that school and activities are coming to an end for the season so hopefully there will be more interest later this year. Have a great day!

[leaders] no attachment

Sorry, I have been informed that I am not allowed to attach things to this list.  Please stand by...

[leaders] camp spreadsheet

Hello Everyone,

We are busy trying to get ready for camp.  It would be helpful if you could address a few issues for us:

1.  I am attaching the spreadsheet that I have sent to Phil at Camp Roger.  Please look it over and make sure I put you in the activities you requested.  The camp forms all started to blur together after a while.  Please email me back if there is a problem.

2. A few troops have one scout doing a separate activity without the rest of the troop.  That scout (and leader) will have to look at the schedule and the scout will need to  join another troop during a time that activity is offered.  There will not be a separte slot for one scout in an activity.

3.  I noticed on the forms that several of the scouts have specific diets (vegetarian, low protein, diabetic, etc.).  Please plan on accomodating that diet within your troop.  We received a request for less sugary food this year.  With that in mind, we tried to plan for a fruit or vegetable at every meal, and less sugary snacks.  That being said, we cannot accomodate specific dietary needs with a budget of $6.00 per person for two meals and two snacks.  The meals were listed on the original camp form.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks!
Michelle

Subject: [leaders] new camp forms?

Hello Everyone,

I apologize for the confusion.  Many people have emailed me about another form for camp.  Yes there are TWO forms to fill out.  Form 1 (which has now been added- Thanks Jane) is where you list the girls and parents that are attending camp.  Form 2 is the form that you pick your activities and your troop chore during camp.  Form 1 should be at the end of the pdf.  on the website.  Thanks for bringing it to my attention.  I didn't notice it wasn't there.

Thanks,
Michelle
