[leaders] recent letters from council

Hello all,

I just want to let everyone know that I have been working with council to correct some of the gaps that note either training or documents are missing. I requested a data sheet so I can compare the information to what we have in the service unit; which I did receive. I did note some inaccuracies. I will keep you updated as to your specific situation.

 

I will suggest that you look for your training card or certificates to show evidence of training and any copies of documents.  I will email you personally as to what I have been able to correct.

Hi everyone,

Everyone that signed up on the Cookie sheet for me 1/10 should have received an email from me by now.  Here are a few dates to be aware of;

 

• Cookie sales begin 1/22/11
• Orderes must be entered into ebudde no later than 2/18/11

[leaders] Pajamboree

HI Leaders ! All of you that have registered,paid and are planning on attending the girl scout dance ( pajamboree) on Friday Jan. 21. I would just like to remind all you that you must wait to all your girls that are attending are there before signing in.  Meet your troop you in the lobby, go to check in table and you will recieve glow sticks for each of your girls to wear.  This is their ticket into the dance and shows us that they were accounted for.   ALSO PLEASE have all your health forms and permission slips with you leaders.  Thank you for your time and looking forward to seeing most of you at the dance on Friday !

(I'm pretty sure they're in a shoebox was that was marked). If you have them with your ornaments, please let me know so we can get them back to their troop.

[leaders] GS - Note from your registrar

Leaders -

It is almost Cookie selling time!  Please make sure that all your girls and your cookie "mom" are registered.  Just giving me a note that you'll be getting me their forms does not count.  They need to be registered before cookie sales starts.  AND the parents need to have signed the Parental Consent "5 consents" form.  You keep the pink copy and give the others back to me as well.

If you get those forms to me, the person is considered registered.  I will verify my receipt date with Council.

In my drop box on my front porch, I have blank Girl and Adult registration forms, blank membership dues summary forms, AND (ta-da!) blank Parent Packages with the Parental concent form.

[leaders] Health Forms and Drop Boxes

Leaders,

 

Health History forms

For each girl in your troop, you should have a Health History form in your records. This form should be taken to any meeting, event or outing. The parents should fill a new form out at the beginning of the year and you should keep them. Bring them to ANY meeting, event or outing.

Drop Boxes

The drop box has been removed from North Rockford Middle School. Drop Boxes are available at :

January 10, 2010 Monday

1. Cookie parent training WILL occur at 6pm at the Rockford Methodist Church.

    Remember: one registered adult volunteer must attend the training in order for the Troop to proceed with cookie sales.

2. Leader meeting will follow the Cookie parent training at 7pm.

 

January 31, 2010 Monday

 

Dimensions of Diversity Monday, Jan. 31 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Rockford United Methodist Church.  Participants can register by calling Deb Bennett at ext 162 with credit card info; or mail in the adult learning registration form (see website) with a $5 check.  E-council online is no longer available to register 2011 events/training's as we slowly transition into a new system.
