Hi everyone, just wanted to remind you of our Thinking Day event coming up on March 5.Details below...

Girl Scouts World Thinking Day 2011
Saturday, March 5, 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Assumption School, Belmont

Travel around the world with your troop as they learn about their sister Girl Scouts without even leaving Michigan! This is an event geared towards our younger Girl Scouts (Daisies & Brownies) presented by older girl troops. The theme for World Thinking Day 2011 is: Girls worldwide say, "empowering girls will change our world". Countries featured at the event are: Lithuania, Yemen, Belgium, Italy, United Arab Emirates and France. In addition to the event cost, we will be collecting gently used or new children's books to promote literacy, which will be donated to North Kent Service Center. 

Cost: $8.00 per girl used or new children's book

Event includes: patch, snack, games, swaps and fun!
