Hi All, (I'm going to piggy-back on Jane's email here....)

We are also celebrating Girl Scout Sunday at Assumption Parish in Belmont on March 6, at the 11:00am Mass.

We will be participating in the mass, taking up the gifts, greeting and distributing the bulletins.  If you, or someone in your troop, attends Assumption parish, please join us, we will be sitting together in a reserved Girl Scout section. If you have any questions, please let me know.

On Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the 5 pm Mass, we will be celebrating Girl Scout Week at Our Lady of Consolation Church on 11 Mile in Rockford. All girls and their families are welcome.

 

Girls should wear their uniform and at minimum their pin. Leaders should wear their pin.

 

Girls may participate by:

·         Being Greeters (please arrive at 4:30 pm)

·         Handing out bulletins after mass

·         Altar Servers (must be trained at OLC prior)

·         Choir (hopefully being arranged and more details to follow)

 

Individual girls may participate even if the troop does not.

 

To attend, please email the Girl's name, parent's name, email address, and phone number to Jane Turner at jane@rockfordgs.com.

 

The cost for each patch will be $2.12. Please bring correct change, if you would like a patch.
