Leaders,
I wanted to update you on some upcoming events.
Daisy Plush Pals
I decided not to try and reschedule as it was just too hectic. The event is still April 20 at Parkside Elem, Room 111 (note new room) from 4:30 - 6 pm. Cost is $12. While the Butterfly Bears will be unavailable due to delay in shipping, Tina Zachow has offered us three other adorable stuffed animals: Monkey, Unicorn, or Vanilla Bear and will have pink or white t-shirts for the animals at no extra cost. Please see the www.rockfordgs.com website for the new flyer with the new pictures. Registration deadline is April 11.
Brownie Make It, Eat It
Event is still on Monday April 18 at Our Lady of Consolation from 6 - 8 pm. Cost is only $4. Brownies will earn the Make It, eat It Try-it and the Senior Girl Scouts will complete their Sow What Journey book on their path to the Gold Award. Registration deadline is April 11. Please make sure to let us know about any food allergies.
Junior Art to Wear Badge
Event is on Tuesday May 10 at the Rockford Freshman Center Cafeteria from 6 - 8 pm. Junior Cost is $5 and girls will earn their Art to Wear Badge. Girls should also bring a plain white t-shirt that they can be altered (cut, dyed, stenciled). A boys or mans undershirt is great! Registration deadline is May 2.
For all events, please bring donations of socks and underwear for the North Kent Service Center.
If your Daisy troop really wanted the Butterfly Bears, or any troop wants a fun and easy event, Tina Sachow is the workshop leader. She is a Girl Scout Leader from Cedar Springs and is super nice. Here is her contact information. She will come to your troop.

Please call me or email if you have any questions. As much as I want, I don't get to my email every day. If it is really a timely issue, call me on my cell phone and leave a voice mail.
Thanks,
Beverly
