Sorry minutes are behind.  I have misplaced my thumb drive.  So here is what I remember.

 

Registration forms – Take to Beverly’s house.  If you take them to council please let Beverly know – prefers a copy of registration forms.  $12 this year.  Council Code #450   Group/Troop code #2324   Service Unit/Team #322

 

Upcoming Events:

Cookie Training – will happen after GS leader meeting at 8:00 on October 10^th.

 

Operation Christmas Child – please save your shoe boxes and kindly wrap them (unwrapped welcome too).  Also hair stuff, wash clothes, school supplies, toothbrushes, toothpaste, small toys, etc.

 

Operation Christmas Childe Event – November 15^th at NRMS - cafeteria

 

GS tree decorations for the Ford Museum are due to Corie by November 11^th.  Please check the website for more details.

 

Nov. 17^th is the Tree Lighting and Caroling at the Ford Museum.  7:00 – Event is free

 

Dec. 3^rd Santa Parade  - Training required.  Come at 6:00 prior to our leader meeting on Nov. 14^th for training.

 

January 9^th -  Cookie Training

 

March 12^th is GS 100^th Anniversary.

 

Upcoming events with details to be worked out.

January – Dance

February – Thinking Day

March – 100^th Anniversary – maybe tie cake decorating into that event

April 13-14 – Older event by council at Celebration Cinema South for movie night

Backpacking in the spring/summer – Lynn and Sarah

 

Anyone interested in helping with the above events please let Beverly know.  Other ideas are YMCA overnight, Mile Project (location with many things for kids to do that we can rent), geocaching, snow tubing, bowling, etc.   We (Lynn & Beverly) can help with the details, just need someone to chair it.
