[leaders] Fw: Rockford Santa Parade - sell Girl Scout Fall product

Hello Leaders!  Here is a great opportunity for your troop to earn addtional money!
- See Jered's note way below regarding the extension of the Fall Product Booth Sales to Dec 11th.

All troops are eligibile (you do not need to have taken the Fall Product training) since its a simple "you take, you sell, you pay" scenario.

- See Taryn's note below for the 20% incentive for Booth Sales at the Rockford Holiday Parade.
Not sure if the 20% extends to all Booth Sales (not limited to the parade), so its worth asking about!

Contact Taryn as soon as possible for more details!

Good luck!

Sarah-

The Rockford Santa Parade is this Saturday.  If any troops want to sell Fall Product, we have some available.  We will double the troop commission to 20% and whatever doesn't sell can be returned at no charge.  Please pass this on to troops in your area.  They can pick product up at the GR Service Center.

Good Afternoon!

We started fall product deliveries today and I hope they continue to go relatively smoothly.

I wanted to let you all know that we have plenty of Fall Product left to sell at booth sales.  So we are extending booth sales another week until Dec. 11.

Product can be picked up here at the Service Center and what doesn't sell can be returned.

Have leaders give me a call if interested.

Thank-you for all you do!

Dear Service Unit Directors and Adult Learning Facilitators,
The new Safety Activity Checkpoints 2011-12 is now available online at http://www.gsmists.org/Volunteer-Zone/Resources.  We will provide two hard copies for all Service Units and have them ready for distribution at our January LCMs.  We will also provide a hard copy for ALFs to assist them in their session facilitations.
There are several changes in the new resource.  Going forward, if there are fewer yearly changes GSUSA may only replace pages.  You may continue to use your current copies until we make available your new hard copies.  Thanks!

[leaders] Monday November 14, 2011

Just a reminder about tomorrow:
If you have a Troop that is planning on participating in the Rockford Christmas Parade. A registered GS Adult Volunteer must attend the training tomorrow at 6pm; this person does have to be a leader. It will be held prior to our leader meeting at Rockford Methodist Church.

Following the Parade training will be our meeting. On the agenda will be an update of service unit activities, open service unit positions and we had a few girls needing a troop. If anyone has additional thoughts/issues which need to be addressed, please let me know. Use my work email  kathleen.bell@hollandhome.org

[leaders] Girl Scouts - Santa Parade & Operation Christmas Child

If your troop is going to be in the Santa Parade on Saturday, December 3rd, you need to have someone from the troop attend the Chamber of Commerce training on Monday, November 14th at 6:00 at RUMC.  This is the same place we meet at 7:00.  So we will see you all there.

Also a reminder that Operation Christmas Child is on Tuesday, November 15th.  Find more details on the website.  If you get a chance wrap those shoe boxes before come or it can be done at the event as well.    Event is at NRMS.
