[Leaders] March 12th Leader's Meeting - 100th Anniversary

Hello Leaders -
On March 12, 1912, Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low assembled 18 girls from Savannah, Georgia, for the first Girl Scout meeting.  Since then, Girl Scouts has grown into the preeminent leadership development organization for girls.

As we approach our 100th Anniversary, we would like to recognize and celebrate this milestone with you at our next Leader's meeting on Monday, March 12th.

Let's share our memories of our own scouting days with each other.  Bring your memorabilia and/or memories to the meeting; old handbooks, photos, uniforms, camp crafts, fun memories - whatever you have - bring it all.   A Show & Tell will be held after the business meeting.

Come and enjoy some fun history - and a few cookies too.

** Girls are welcome to come and join the fun (probably around 8pm).  This should fulfills one of the requirements for earning the 100th Anniversary Patch.

** Information for your troop to earn the 100th Anniversary Patch will also be available at the meeting.

Hope to see you soon!
