Hi! My name is Stephani Sawicki and I am a senior at Rockford High School. I am currently working on my Girl Scout Gold Award Project. I am creating a book room / "Learning Library" at St. Johns Home (a residential home for children ages 6-17). In order to make this project a success, I am in need of furnishings for the library. Any book donations appropriate for ages 6-17 are appreciated. Both new and gently used books are welcome. In addition, I am looking for floor pillow and beanbag cover donations. Both of these things can be homemade and would be a fun troop project for anyone who likes to sew! An ideal size for beanbags would be approximately large enough to fit a teenager and the floor pillows can be 28"x28" or larger. I really appreciate all and any help you have to offer!
