[Leaders] Start of Summer Parade and Day Camp and cookie dough

Listed below are the details for the Start of Summer Parade:

 

The Parade starts at 1045 (the published time is 11am, but the actual parade begins moving at 1045.

    Minimally, all walkers need to be at marker #44 no later than 1030.  At this moment, I do not exactly know where #44 marker will be placed, but all markers will be along the streets. Please tell your parents that there is NO parking. I also suggest that you meet as a group and walk to the marker. We are going to go at as "Service Unit". If you are planning on passing out candy, once again we can not throw candy but we can gently toss it toward the ground. We are also asked to be sure to have candy toward the end of the parade. The police also are asking to NOT have parents take their kids out of the parade before it ends, so please share that with them.  tomorrow I will scan the information from the city and send it out for you to read.

 

Day Camp:

I understand that Bev is meeting with the representatives from council tomorrow. It sounds like there is a difference in understanding and I am sure Bev will send out the correct information asap.

 

Cookie

I was asked by a few leaders about the use of cookie dough for daycamp.  cookie dough can ony be used at council event registrations and the council store. So it can't be use to pay for day camp. sorry
