We've added a Volunteer Essentials in Cedar Springs this month. This is
especially for new leaders, and is very helpful for last year's new
leaders who may have taken the home study, which is no longer available,
and for anyone still needing their diversity training as we've added
some diversity activities within this three hour class which combines
the old 90 minute Volunteer Essentials and the Dimensions of Diversity
class.



This is also good for any leader who wants to be refreshed on the
policies and procedures. Participants will receive a ring binder filled
with printed out 2012-13 Volunteer Essentials and 2012-13 Safety
Activity Checkpoints, popular forms and other leader resources. New
leaders will receive their new leader bag with registration forms,
catalog, insurance info, Family Champion forms, etc.



Volunteer Essentials

Thursday, Jan. 31, 6-9 p.m.

Cedar Springs United Methodist Church

$10 per person; register by Mon, Jan. 28 deadline. If we receive our
five person minimum by the deadline we can open the registrations back
up for more to sign up through Thursday.
