Sandy,

I have a flyer explaining about making decorations for the Ford Museum Christmas Tree. I have attached the flyer since I wasn't sure who needed to approve it before it could be sent to the entire leader list. Thank you!

[Leaders] Flyer for scouting

Here is the Flyer I scanned in about the Expo next week  If you have a way to get it out to parents- email, paper copy, posted flyers...please do.  I did post a copy at the Rockford Library and Family Fare.  Community Services is supposed to send it out on Family Access.

[Leaders] Girl Scout Overnight Camp

We have reserved the camp for May 4-5 (Saturday night) in the spring of 2013.  Several new buildings were completed so we will be able to sleep more girls.  Also there are separate single bedrooms for male adults.  Also you are welcome to pitch a tent in the field (this will save you on cost).   Save the date!

Is there a troop interested in running a 3 hour Daisy event?  If you need suggestions I have them.  How it ran last year:

We started with the Obstacle course and then played Octoball.

We then had snack and drink.

Headed in for some crafts

Headed back outside for some games and singing camp songs.

Please let me know if your troop is interested in assisting with the Daisy event or running it completely.  Many hands make light work.  They do not have to participate in the overnight campout to run the Daisy portion.

[Leaders] GS registration

Go to www.gsmists.org

On the top bar is a choice to register.  Click it to go to the login screen.  Here you have a choice to login or get an ID (the ID is different than the one for VolunteerZone).  So if you haven't been here before, choose to get an ID.

Also on this page is a hotspot that says ' Click HERE for an online demo' to learn how to do the girl registrations.  I found it to be a little long, but helpful.

To the best of my knowledge, the parent forms to sign are gone for now.  I know it is an issue council is checking on...so stay tuned...

[Leaders] Mtg reminder

Our first leader meeting is tomorrow night from 7-8 with a meet & greet at 6:30. Location:RUMC same as last year

If your troop is planning to sell Fall Product, please bring your checkbook. Council sent out the paperwork last week (and I'm hoping we have ours by tomorrow). We would be able to start the billing/payment paperwork and make training much faster. The dates of training TBA once we have everything from council.

See you tomorrow!
